Electrical Energy

Electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications engineering and more

"Electrical Engineering" is a department of the study programme “Mechatronik/Microsystemstechnik” and fields of activity range from theoretical electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunication engineering, automation engineering to automatic drive and control technology.

In the department of “Electrical Engineering” at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, the development of metrological systems on PC-, µ–controller or FPGA basis plays a central role in lectures. Additional emphasis is set on the modelling and simulation of automatic control engineering systems as well as analogue and digital circuits.

Besides theoretical know how, emphasis lies in the practical use of acquired knowledge in development and research projects. To this purpose students have the most modernly equipped laboratories at their disposal.
